Grant Awarded to Support Heart Surgery Mission to Uganda This September

Great news! Pranava Sinha, MD – a key partner of Dr. Craig Sable and Heart Healers International – has been awarded a grant through Children's National Hospital from Edwards Foundation/Thoracic Surgery Foundation for a heart surgery mission trip to Uganda for this September. The grant will support surgeries for children with congenital heart defects and Rheumatic Heart Disease. This is the fourth such trip funded by Edwards/TSF.

Heart Healers International has been proud to be a part in providing more than 350 open-heart surgeries in Uganda since 2007. Complexity has increased each year, and the survival rate is over 95%.
